The Retreat List (theretreatlist.ie) is an independent directory of yoga, meditation and wellness retreats in Ireland, run by Darren Mooney. For anything about your information, email darren.ideas78@gmail.com.
Browsing the site
We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't build profiles of visitors. Our fonts are hosted on this site, so browsing doesn't send your details to Google or anyone else.
Like every website, our host (Netlify) briefly logs technical details such as IP addresses to keep the site running and secure. Retreat listings are loaded from our database provider (Supabase), which handles requests in the same way.
When you list a retreat
The "List your retreat" form asks for your venue and retreat details and your email address. We use them only to check the retreat, publish the listing, and email you to confirm it's live or ask a question about it.
- Published: the retreat and venue details you send (name, location, dates, price, what's included, booking link). Your email address is never published.
- Kept: submissions are stored with Netlify, which processes the form for us. We delete a submission once it has been dealt with, and within 12 months at the latest.
- Lawful basis: you've asked us to list your retreat, and we need these details to do that.
- Shared: never sold or passed to anyone else.
Venue listings
Venue details on the site (name, town, website, a short description) come from the venues' own public websites. If you run a listed venue and want something corrected or removed, email us and we'll do it promptly.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you by emailing darren.ideas78@gmail.com. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
